Consultation and Quotes
Most of the time customers have a clear idea of what they would like to do with their trees, however sometimes you might find yourself being concerned about the safety of a tree or unsure what can be done in terms of preservation and might need a consultation to determine weather the tree is in-fact diseased and poses a risk and whether safe removal is necessary. I am happy to arrange a meeting on site with a customer to discuss options and this will usually result in a free quote when all options have been explored and discussed.
Tree Surgery
Everything from climbing to dismantle, felling and pruning. Occasionally a job might require a Mobile Elevated Work Platform, but this will only be in the event that the tree is not safe to climb. With every job I take on, a full risk assessment is carried out to ensure there is minimal risk to property and the public.
Milling and Logging
On the occasion you have a tree with the potential for producing some fine timber, I can bring my milling equipment to site and mill and stack lengths for you to season and use for whatever projects you have in mind. Otherwise I can log up and stack your fire wood, chip and tidy the waste or arrange to remove the waste wood altogether.
Custom Handmade Projects
Before becoming a tree surgeon I studied woodwork and instrument making. Occassionally I get asked to take on special projects for people. These projects range from everyday items like chopping boards, tables and stools to special pieces like jewelry and sculptural works. Each piece is carefully designed and handcrafted, using wood that holds sentimental value or is locally sourced. Every project is tailored to the individual, reflecting their unique ideas and preferences. I enjoy taking on these projects once in a while and working with those who appreciate the craftsmanship behind each bespoke creation.
